Another Fantastic Gig!

We had a blast performing for a full house at Krause's on Friday,  March 15th. Despite rain in the forecast,  the weather ended up being amazing, and the audience was definitely ready for some great Classic Rock and Blues. This was the first time that we hit the stage with one of the hottest guitar players, well known in and around New Braunfels. Bobby Shmuekle (sounds like Sh-Michael) knocked the ball out of the park with some of the finest leads these ears have ever heard. On top of that, we introduced a number of new songs that had been requested recently. Some of the tunes included:

  •  Hotel California (The Eagles)
  • Lights (Journey)
  • House is a Rockin' (Stevie Ray Vaughn)
  • The One You Love (Glen Frey)
  • Shine (Collective Soul)
  • Come Sail Away (Styx)

You get the gist - we will continue to learn the songs that audiences absolutely love, and few bands attempt to cover.

Come see why Chain Bridge Road is becoming one of the top and most popular bands playing in Texas Hill Country

All the best,

Keith (Vocals & Keyboards)

How Chain Bridge Road Put Together the Best Songlist Imaginable.

Chain Bridge Road is a band that has been working hard for the last few months to put together the best songlist imaginable. In this blog post, we'll take a look at how Chain Bridge Road put together their songlist and what makes it so special.

Chain Bridge Road started by brainstorming and researching a list of songs that they wanted to play. They knew that they wanted to create a setlist that was diverse and would appeal to a wide range of audiences, and that would showcase their unique sound. Once they had a list of songs that are widely considered the best of classic rock, blues and even yacht-rock (yes that's a thing - check out the dedicated channel on Sirius XM), they started to practice, spending countless hours rehearsing and perfecting each song. They experimented with different arrangements and added their own unique touches to each song.

After months of hard work, Chain Bridge Road finally had a songlist that they were proud of. Their setlist includes well known covers that most bands won't be able cover but are sure to keep the audience dancing.

Putting together a great songlist takes time and effort, but it's been worth it in the end. Chain Bridge Road has created a setlist that is truly unique and showcases their talent as musicians. With the addition of lead guitarist Marc Oldawan, the band band has been able to create a sound that is captivating and sure to please audiences. If you're looking for a band that knows how to put on a great show, look no further than Chain Bridge Road.

Chain Bridge Road expands with the addition of its newest band member.

Hey there friends, after a long search for a world-class lead guitarist, we are very excited to announce the addition of Marc Moldowan to Chain Bridge Road. He's one of the most accomplished musicians we've had the pleasure to know, and his addition allows us to cover some of the most iconic songs that few bands are able to cover. I hope you'll come out and here us on one of upcoming gigs. Marc was born and raised in Chicago and moved to San Antonio back in 2001 and now resides in Boerne, TX. Marc is such a guitar connoisseur as evidenced by his collection of 39 guitars and he gets the most amazing tones out of these beauties. His favorite guitar artists include Robin Ford, Eric Clapton, Doyle Bramhall II, Larry Carlton, Tab Benoit, Billy Gibbons, Allen Hinds, Scott Henderson, etc.

Marc got started as a drummer and percussionist at the ripe old age of ten and by his freshman year of college, he heard the Eric Clapton song Forever Man, and he was immediately hooked resulting in his buying his first guitar and amp. Thirty-five years later, he has become a master of his craft and a dedicated life-time learner.

Come on out and say hello to Marc and hear how this has taken Chain Bridge Road to the next level.

Back by popular demand!

Hello to our friends and fans,

We apparently did so well at our gig two weeks ago at the Guadalupe Brewing Company, that we've been asked to return on Sunday, May 8th (Mother's Day), and perform for four hours between 2pm - 6pm. The owner/operator of the venue had this to say about the band...

"Chain Bridge Road did an amazing job performing at the Guadalupe Brewing Company. They are great musicians, and total professionals. And more importantly, my customers loved them! They're so good, I'm bringing them back in two weeks to perform again."

I hope that you'll all come out and see for yourselves what the buzz is all about!

Love, Peace & Rock and Roll,

Keith

Chain Bridge Road Finds its New Home in New Braunfels, TX

It's just been a little over one year since Chain Bridge Road relocated from its home-base in No. Virginia for the greener pastures of New Braunfels. In that time, we've added all-new material, and a great sax player by the name of Mike Oliver. His addition of vocals gives the band great three-part harmony's that further adds to the differentiated sound we perform, and many that few other bands are covering.

On our upcoming gig at the Guadalupe Brewing Company, on April 24th from 2-5pm, we'll be putting on an outdoor show which will be live-recorded that we'll be excited to share with our fans. Come on down and be a part of the video!

We are excited to introduce our audiences to three musical artists, all that have had successful careers in the music industry that will most certainly stand-out in The Texas Hill Country.

We are looking forward to seeing you all real soon.
